Ramadan Greetings

Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahamtullah

Ramadan Kareem!

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the staff and volunteers of Muslim Aid, it gives me immense pleasure to convey Ramadan greetings to you all.  I pray the Almighty grants us the tawfique to derive maximum benefit from this blessed month for our Hereafter and our life in this world. May He also grant us the strength and stamina to work even harder to help the poor and the needy in various parts of the globe.

This is also a time to remember our brothers and sisters in Pakistan who have been adversely affected by the devastating floods. We all need to offer special prayers to Allah Almighty to alleviate their suffering and grant them succor, Ameen. 

Muslim Aid was one of the very first aid agencies to be on the ground as soon as the floods struck. We are monitoring the grim situation on a daily basis and are in regular contact with our field office in Pakistan. We have already provided assistance to the value of £100,000.  An Emergency Appeal has also been launched and by the Grace of Allah the response from the donors has been very good.

May the Most Merciful and the Most Kind keep us safe and steady on His path always.

May Allah's mercy and blessings be with you all throughout this Blessed month and throughout the year, Ameen.
